Currently, she is a ZSL-EDGE fellow working on the critically endangered crocodile “Gharial” (Gavialis gangeticus) in Nepal. Her research is oriented to develop evidence-based knowledge on reproductive ecology and acoustic communication of Gharial in Chitwan National Park. The research is also focused on understanding the historical existence and distribution of Gharial in Chitwan.
