After the 2016 WiNN event in Buenos Aires, a group of University of Buenos Aires (UBA) students have taken the initiative to create an Ecologist Group, belonging to the Exact and Natural Sciences Faculty. Some initial partnerships have been created between women who participated in the WfW Network symposium, to exchange information about their experiences and to discuss how to improve women's roles in conservation management. The Ecologist Group will be a UBA WiNN and will continue to connect and interact with the global WiNN community. One or two representatives from UBA-WiNN will be invited to participate in the 2017 WiNN event in Mexico to continue the interaction and learning.
