Catherine Ajuna Fridolin

Catherine Ajuna Fridolin is a marine scientist with a Master’s in Marine Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. With over five years of experience, she has led initiatives in mangrove restoration, sustainable seaweed farming, and fisheries management with organizations including WWF Tanzania and Mwambao Coastal Community Network. She is also a social entrepreneur, currently building Duara, an NGO that provides circular solutions to marginalized groups through waste management. Catherine is a certified Open Water Scuba Diver, committed to advancing marine conservation through science and community action.
