See you in Tanzania in 2027 !

2027 Global Conference: Arusha, Tanzania

WiNN’s annual Global Networking Event brings together women from around the world who are working in — or curious about — conservation. It is a space where knowledge is shared openly, experiences are honored, and meaningful connections are built across cultures, disciplines, and generations.

In 2027, we will gather in Arusha, Tanzania for a conference centered on the impact of conservation in our own lives, our communities, and our planet.

Through workshops, storytelling, and shared experiences, we will create a space of belonging, exchange, and collaboration—one that invites honest conversation, nurtures leadership, and explores what it truly takes to create lasting, meaningful impact. Site visits to local conservation and sustainability initiatives will offer opportunities to connect with the landscapes, cultures, and communities that shape this work in Tanzania.

Why This Gathering Matters

Authentic Connection

At WiNN, we intentionally create an environment where people can show up as they are. We move beyond titles and roles to focus on genuine connection, fostering a sense of belonging.

Women Led

Connection is at the heart of every WiNN gathering.

Beyond sessions and workshops, this is a space where people truly meet, where ideas are exchanged freely, support is offered generously, and relationships grow into lasting friendships and collaborations.

Uplifting Collaboration

WiNN conferences are shaped by women—creating spaces that are open, supportive, and grounded in trust.

Rooted in Place: Why Arusha

Tanzania contains incredibly rich biodiversity and ecosystems and cultural pride in its wildlife heritage – and a strong local WiNN chapter whose members are passionate about sharing their home with other women.

The place offers a powerful setting for this next chapter of WiNN’s global journey. Known as a gateway to some of East Africa’s most iconic landscapes (like Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro.), it is also a place of vibrant community, deep ecological significance, and rich cultural heritage.
