Global Networking Event

WiNN’s annual global networking event brings together international conservation leaders, WiNN members, conservation practitioners, students, and any woman interested in learning more about conservation. Through symposium and workshops, attendees have opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences, strengthen their leadership skills, and connect with other women. Site visits to nearby conservation initiatives offer opportunities to experience the unique cultures of different countries where our conferences are held.

What’s harder to describe is the unique magic that happens at Winn Global Conferences. Our intention is to create a space of belonging, exchange, and collaboration. Conservationist Anna Mahulu wrote eloquently about that experience at our 2025 Global Conference in Mexico::

As the leader of a newly established WiNN chapter, I attended to build connections with other women conservationists, gain insights from diverse initiatives around the world, and represent the voices of African women working to protect biodiversity.….From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced. The welcome session deeply moved me. It was unlike any conference I had ever attended. Centered on affirmation, shared leadership, and emotional connection. I immediately sensed that this space was built on trust, solidarity, and purpose.”

Our next Global Conference is tentatively scheduled to take place in June 2027. Stay tuned through this page or our quarterly WiNN News letter! You can catch a glimpse of our recent past Global Networking Event in Meico below!

On the first day of the 7th Annual Global Networking event, I was incredibly emotional. Seeing so many women, young and old in one room brought together to shine a light on women’s empowerment, filled my heart with joy every single time....

Everyone was carrying stories of hope. In this awe-inspiring atmosphere, a single truth echoed: Empowered women empower women.
