WiNN NAMIBIA

WiNN’s Namibia chapter launched in 2026. The chapter’s founding members are women currently working within communal conservancies and conservation NGOs in north-west Namibia. Collectively, they bring a wide-range of experiences from the community-based natural resource management (CBNRM) sector, with years of experience supporting conservation and community.

Members organized their chapter to create a space where women working in Namibian conservation can connect, share experiences, learn from one another and support each other’s growth by providing a platform for networking, mentorship, collaboration. In the future,
they hope to expand this work to include engagement with local communities and conservation projects that promote women empowerment, skills development, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
